Properly designed robotic lawnmowers utilize the airflow generated by their cutting blades to lift the grass blades during mowing, ensuring that the trimmed ends are utilized directly at the soil level, preventing them from sticking to shoes or feet. The weather also has no impact on the performance of our robotic lawnmower; it will complete its task in rain or sunshine at the pre-set time and location. Some manufacturers’ products use sensors to detect rain and will only resume operation once the precipitation has ceased. Opinions vary on which method is more effective, but consider how much your lawn could grow during a 4-5 day rainy period! Robotic lawnmowers are protected against precipitation and moisture. The Honda Miimo, for instance, can even be cleaned from below with a garden hose, as it is equipped with appropriate sealing for this purpose. The Right Place, The Right Time Everyone can decide when and where their robotic lawnmower should begin its work. In more segmented gardens, areas with higher traffic might require less maintenance, while spots where the grass is less trodden will present more tasks for the robotic lawnmower. If the garden is continuously occupied, mowing can even occur in the middle of the night; most models operate so quietly that their functioning is barely audible. Some lawnmowers offer a quiet or night mode, further reducing noise levels. In most cases, properly designed pathways and garden routes do not pose an obstacle for robotic lawnmowers; if necessary, your robot can be navigated to the opposite end of the garden to continue its work there. Over Hills and Valleys High-end robotic lawnmowers can handle inclines of up to 30-45 degrees and effectively manage holes and molehills. It is important that if you intend to use your machine on uneven terrain, you equip it with off-road wheels – these are available separately from various manufacturers. Safety and Convenience Your children and pets are safe in the company of our robotic lawnmower. If the mower collides with something or someone, its sensors detect the obstacle, and it reverses to navigate around the object. It senses if it overturns, alarms if lifted, and is protected from unauthorized access by a PIN code chosen by its owner.
