AFTERCOOLERS: THE FOUNDATION OF CLEAN AIR AND EQUIPMENT PROTECTION

OMI RA and A SERIES: HEAT EXCHANGER SOLUTIONS

Aftercoolers are critical in compressed air treatment, as they cool hot air to condense water vapor, thereby preventing corrosion and protecting filters and dryers from overheating.

Cooling Performance: Reduces air temperature from 120℃ to 3℃ above ambient temperature
Low pressure drop (Minimizes energy loss)
Cyclone separator (Removes condensate)
RA-P: Equipped with a silencer and filter
Easy maintenance thanks to modular design
Inlet air temperature up to +200℃ (Water-cooled series)
RA-P Pneumatic fan (requires no electricity)
High-pressure option (16 bar operating pressure)
AV series (Water-cooled) with vertical installation option
Easily customizable (separator, motor, or frame-less options)

Air-cooled series (RA and RA-P)

The RA series, featuring a wide range of heat exchangers and powerful fans, is the most common solution:

Performance: Capable of reducing compressed air temperature from above 120℃ to just 3℃ above ambient temperature.

Condensate Management: Condensate is separated via a separator installed at the heat exchanger outlet.

RA-P (Pneumatic): Compared to the electric version, this type uses a portion of the compressed air to drive the fan. This series is equipped with a silencer and a lubricating filter for increased reliability and lower noise levels.

Design: The series are available with 60 Hz power supply, NPT/ANSI connections, and options without separator, motor, or frame.

Water-cooled series (A and AV)

Water-cooled aftercoolers are ideal for particularly high inlet temperatures:

Design: Consists of two main parts: a high-efficiency shell-in-tube heat exchanger and a cyclone separator.

Delivery Temperature: The maximum air inlet temperature +200℃ has been increased to.

Flexibility: Also available with vertical installation (AV series) upon request. Available with a separator-less option and NPT/ANSI connections.

Technical Specifications: They operate with a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar, and special consultation is required for water temperatures below +1℃.
