OIL-WATER SEPARATORS

ECOTRON, ECOSEP AND ECOPLUS SERIES: ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND EFFICIENCY

Condensate from oil-lubricated compressors contains significant amounts of oil and solid particles, which—if not properly removed—can seriously pollute the environment. OMI Ecosep and Ecotron separators use a two-stage treatment process to remove the oil-water emulsion, ensuring clean wastewater discharge.

Environmental Protection: Purified wastewater (up to 10 mg/l residual oil)
Two-Stage Filtration: Uses two different filters (adsorbent and activated carbon)
Versatility: 13 models cover the flow range of all air treatment systems
Electronic Diagnostics: ECOTRON provides real-time alerts on filter saturation
Simple Maintenance: Maintenance kits make replacement quick and intuitive
Zero Air Loss: Compatible with No-Loss drains

Two-Stage Separation Process

OMI systems are capable of working with most oils available on the market and deliver excellent performance. The separation is based on a simple yet effective two-stage process:

1. Stage (Adsorbent Filter): The condensate first passes through a filter that binds the oil through its physical properties. In the Ecosep/Ecotron series, this filter contains special materials.

2. Stage (Activated Carbon): In the second stage, activated carbon (deep bed of activated carbon) absorbs all remaining traces of oil before the purified water exits the system.

Result: Clean wastewater with an oil content below 10 mg/l.

Intelligent Solutions for Continuous Operation

The two series, Ecosep and Ecotron, use the same separation process but feature different maintenance indication systems:

ECOTRON (electronic control): This version is equipped with a patented electronic display. It progressively indicates the filter saturation level and sends an alert to the operator when the filter needs replacement.

ECOSEP (compact and economical): This is the most compact and economical solution. Instead of electronics, a simple and intuitive Timestrip (time indicator) assists the user in determining when to replace the filter.

Compatibility: Both separators are compatible with virtually all condensate drain types (manual, automatic, no-loss, etc.).
