DENV-AIR’s Latin American expansion has reached another important milestone: in Quito, as part of the ‘Environmental Technology Roadshow in Latin America’ program, we participated in professional presentations and targeted B2B negotiations. At the meetings, promising relationships have been established with local commercial partners, with whom we are currently working to make DENV-AIR compressors available in Ecuador.

The South American market is not unfamiliar to us. Building on DENV-AIR’s decades of Latin American experience, we continuously seek local partners with whom we can not only sell equipment, but also establish a long-term sales and technical support infrastructure.

In Ecuador, we are now laying the foundations of this partner network.

Environmental Technology Roadshow in Latin America

The goal of the Latin American roadshow was to showcase Hungarian technological solutions and develop local business relationships.

The program’s concept is well illustrated by the fact that at the roadshow’s Mexico stop, the Hungarian diplomatic mission presented the products, services, and developments of Hungarian companies in the environmental technology sector. Tamás Gyenese, Managing Director of DENV-AIR Kft., personally participated in the program. mexiko.mfa.gov.hu

At the Quito stop, the professional program began with presentations and continued with B2B business negotiations. For us, these personal consultations represented one of the most important parts of the trip.

In a new market, it is not enough to demonstrate the technology. We must find local companies that possess the appropriate industry knowledge, network of contacts, and technical competence to represent the DENV-AIR brand over the long term.

From negotiations to active partnership

After the Quito meetings, contact has continued: we have been in ongoing consultation with local partners ever since.

We are working with local compressor distributors to establish the conditions for distributing DENV-AIR compressors in Ecuador.

Building a new market takes time, and we are following this path step by step.

At DENV-AIR, the goal is not to export individual units to distant markets. We are building a local partner network through which customers can access appropriate product knowledge, technical support, and service infrastructure over the long term.

Compressors in Ecuador: why is this market interesting?

Ecuador’s economy includes several industries where compressed air can be an important part of the production infrastructure.

Mining, food and beverage manufacturing, processing industries, construction, and numerous other industrial applications all require reliable and energy-efficient compressed air systems.

The DENV-AIR portfolio offers solutions for various performance and application areas. Among our proprietary products are the DAPM energy-efficient, variable speed drive, 100% direct drive screw compressors, as well as fixed-speed and mobile screw compressors. DENV-AIR Kft.

According to the technical data published by DENV-AIR, energy savings with DAPM technology can reach over 30–40% compared to conventional solutions under appropriate operating conditions. Actual savings naturally always depend on the specific system configuration and load profile.

Hungarian Engineering Expertise in Ecuador

DENV-AIR has been engaged in compressor technology, system design, and energy optimization for more than three decades.

We want to make this expertise available in an increasing number of international markets.

In Ecuador, we have taken the first important step toward this: we have established contact with the local trade partners with whom we can begin building the market for the long term.

The model is the same one we build on in our other international markets:

Hungarian compressor technology + local market knowledge + appropriate technical support + long-term partnership.

Quito: the beginning of a new connection

The Quito stop of the ‘Environmental Technology Roadshow in Latin America’ was therefore much more than a professional event for us.

The presentations were followed by concrete business negotiations, and from the negotiations new trade connections were born, on which we have been working ever since.

Our goal is to make DENV-AIR compressors available in Ecuador.

With this, another country has appeared in DENV-AIR’s Latin American plans – and we have moved one step closer to making our Hungarian compressor technology available in an increasingly broad international market.

For us, Quito did not represent the end of one roadshow stop, but the beginning of a path toward a new market.
