Last week, our company joined the business delegation to Morocco organised by the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK). Together with CGEM, MKIK organised the Morocco-Hungary Business Meeting in Casablanca. For us, the event was a real success. In fact, it opened up many new opportunities for cooperation.

The next day, we also attended the Industrial Transformation AFRICA exhibition. After that, we took part in a very valuable business meeting at the Embassy of Hungary in Rabat.

Morocco-Hungary Business Meeting: why Morocco matters to us

Morocco has become one of the fastest-growing industrial hubs in North Africa. Its automotive, energy and manufacturing sectors are expanding quickly. As a result, demand for reliable, energy-efficient compressed air systems keeps rising. The Morocco-Hungary Business Meeting gave us a great chance to meet local manufacturers and traders in person. Moreover, we could learn about their needs first-hand. We also showed what a compressor specialist with Hungarian engineering roots can offer.

Industrial Transformation AFRICA and our meeting in Rabat

Industrial Transformation AFRICA is a major industrial trade fair in Africa. It showcases solutions in automation, energy efficiency and modern manufacturing. Therefore, it gave us a clear picture of what Moroccan industrial buyers expect. This includes both technology standards and service support. Later, at the Embassy of Hungary in Rabat, we discussed Hungarian–Moroccan economic ties. In addition, we explored concrete ways for Hungarian companies to cooperate in Morocco.

Export experience we can build on

International markets are nothing new to us. Since 2004, we have been active in Cuba as a trade consultant and exporter. We also run our own office in Havana (DENV-AIR Consulting). This experience covers local regulations, logistics and long-term partnerships. Consequently, it applies directly to the North African market as well.

What’s next?

In the coming weeks, we will follow up on the contacts made in Casablanca and Rabat. Our goal is to offer DENV-AIR screw compressors, air treatment solutions and service expertise to Moroccan industrial partners. Above all, we bring proven results from our Hungarian customers. For example, variable speed drive technology can cut energy use by up to 35%.

Finally, we would like to thank MKIK, CGEM and the Embassy of Hungary in Rabat for the excellent organisation and support!
