In 2013, our partner company, KNORR-BREMSE Fékrendszerek Kft., invited us to provide their compressed air supply during the design of their new plant in Kecskemét. In accordance with production requirements, the planned compressor house accommodates three compressed air generation systems operating at different pressures. This involves the simultaneous operation and supervision of no fewer than 8 screw compressors and their air treatment units using a GD CONNECT 12 controller. Furthermore, all equipment was supplied with energy efficiency in mind, allowing precise tracking of user demand through variable speed control, thereby avoiding excessive power consumption and the resulting additional costs. The implementation of the 8, 16, and 30 bar systems with water cooling and heat recovery required exceptional engineering solutions, which we successfully delivered. Expertise and precision are essential for the simultaneous supervision of three different pressure systems, the coordination of compressors, and, last but not least, the complete satisfaction of customer requirements. This was an honorable task for our company that presented uncommon challenges, and we are proud to have provided a suitable solution for our client.
