It is often the case that regulations mandate the use of screw compressors for industrial applications, but even for home DIY projects, types available with various performance levels are frequently chosen. 5.5-10 horsepower models are sufficient for smaller operations, but if the goal is to ensure a large volume of air supply, then at least 5.5-20 horsepower versions are definitely recommended.

When making a choice, considering the price-value ratio, reliable, well-known brands are recommended, as spare parts will not be an issue in case of a malfunction. It is also worth emphasizing noise levels, efficiency, energy savings, and modern control options during the purchase.
